About Us

Welcome to Trushka Siamese Cattery.  We are located in Adelaide, South Australia in a beach side suburb.  I have owned Siamese cats my whole life.  In fact I was born into a family with a mum, dad, sister and two seal point Siamese.  Being brought up with Siamese cats has made them a very important and special part of my life.

My Nanna bred Siamese Seal and Blue points in the late 1950’s and 60’s in the North of England.  When they moved to Australia she continued breeding Seal and Blue points.  Her Siamese were now by today standards “Apple Heads”.  Her cats had no health problems and wonderful temperaments.  The longest living cat that she bred that we know of lived to his mid 20’s.
My first two Siamese were Trigger – Seal point spayed female, and Trushka – a Seal Point neutered male, both bred by my nanna.  Trigger and Trushka were both very healthy cats with wonderful personalities and very vocal!  They both lived to around 14 years old and are still greatly missed.

At Trushka Cattery there are only two cats Tweema Zeberdee (Bijou) entire seal point pure Siamese from NSW and Robseane Seppi Maximus (Mr Belvedere) a seal point neuter male.  I hope to keep one of Bijou’s offspring for new lines.

When I moved out of home I wanted to purchase an entire female Siamese and Neuter male.  Anne Fanning sold me Robseane Seppi Maximus (Mr Belvedere), and also sold to my Mum, Robseane Katinka Maximus a seal spayed female.  Thank you to Anne for all her help, support and information on Siamese breeding.

Anne put me in contact with Mrs Patricia Manwaring of Tweema Siamese in NSW. 
Mrs Manwaring only breeds pure Siamese.  That means only seal, blue, chocolate and Lilac points with no Oriental or Tabby Points in the blood lines.  Mrs Manwaring sold me my first entire Siamese Tweema Zeberdee.  Thank you to Pat for sharing her years of experience and knowledge of the pure Siamese cat.

All Trushka cats and kittens live inside and NEVER go outside.  They are house trained and vaccinated twice, once at eight weeks and again at twelve weeks.  All my kittens will be registered with the Feline Association of South Australia.

My goal as a breeder is to breed healthy Siamese cats with beautiful temperaments and to bring the pure Siamese back into South Australia.

Bijou and Mr Belvedere are very spoilt cats that sleep in the bed and are big babies who love human attention.
